Informal gathering
Sunday evening 22 June 2008 at 7 pm, there will be an informal gathering of conference delegates. We will meet in 't Vosken (Sint-Baafsplein 19, Gent city centre), where you can eat or drink something if you like (at your own expense). Dishes you can choose from are: spaghetti - vegetarian pasta - stew with french fries - chicken casserole (Gentse waterzooi). Follow this link for a road map to this bistro.
Guided tour
On Monday evening 23 June 2008 at 7 pm, you can join a guided tour, provided by Vizit. The ‘Amuse Gueule’ tour is a true walking dinner. The guide takes you to 4 different restaurants for a 4-course meal. In every stop, a part of your menu awaits you. While you walk from dish to dish, you’ll be served some refreshing stories on the numerous sights and on past and present city life. The tour duration is about 4 hours.

There is also a possibility for partners/spouses of delegates to join this social activity. The fee for this social activity for partners/spouses is € 60 (approx. £ 43). Please indicate on the registration form whether your partner or spouse plans to attend the guided tour.
Conference dinner
The conference dinner will be held in the evening of Tuesday 24 June 2008. This dinner will take place in the restaurant 'Carlos Quinto' in the heart of Ghent. The specialty of this restaurant are walking dinners. We chose for a diversity of typically Belgian dishes.
